Linux Distributions

Here are links to just a few of the most popular Linux distributions. In case you aren't familiar with Linux, the kernel (the heart, the core) is open source. What that means is that anyone can access it and create their own operating system, thus all the different distributions. If MicroSoft had done a similar thing (I know, that is a BIG if :-) there would be as many different versions of Windows as well.

Just as in the Live CDs you need to download the ISOs and burn them to CD. Image Burn is a free download
